In 1997, a group of investors and I purchased Grid International (formerly Scientific Method Inc.) from Dr. Robert Blake and the heirs of Dr. Jane Mouton. At that time I had been working with Grid theory for 13 years and had implemented it in diverse organizations throughout North America.
After an initial period of international business development, product redesign, and the introduction of a new marketing strategy, we have now turned our attention to our distribution capability.
I hold a deep passion of Grid's intellectual integrity and its power to change organizations. I have seen the application of the Grid methodology unlock entrenched behaviors and ineffective cultures and provide a pathway to develop more creative, robust, and rigorous organization cultures.
No matter how brilliant the plan or strategy to change, implementation and execution will not occur without a ready and receptive human environment. The ability to align behaviors and values at the individual, team, and organization levels is fundamental to success. It is here that Grid delivers The Power to Change.
